Frances F. "Granny" Colvert, (nee Fincher), age 92 of Streetsboro, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2023 at the Altercare Post Acute Rehab Center in Kent. Born March 22, 1931 in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the Read Obituary
France’s was one of a kind. I was fortunate to work with her at PLC in Streetsboro and then caring for her at Altercare. She always had a smile on her face and in her heart. She fought till the end. I miss her already. Condolences to her family.
Francis became a member of our Friday morning Bible study. She was so special! She loved the Lord. She came with her Bible that she had since being married. We gave her a new one. We miss her so much. We made sure to go to her room every week and sing Anazing Grace to her, and pray as we stood around her. I pray she found comfort in that as they say the hearing is the last to go. Rest in peace my very special friend. You’re in the arms of Jesus now. God Bless you. Our condolences to the family. Granny was a delightful treasure. I’ll forever remember she ended all her conversations ( l’m sure everyone’s) with “ l love you Carla”. It wasn’t the words but the unique manner she spoke that made it special. It made me smile, and l would answer l love you too Granny.
Aunt Francis, my dad Lon’s sister, was the final member of my grandfather Zeb and Mary Lou’s family.
I have many childhood memories from the country farm/family home in Lawrenceburg.
Most all of great love that flowed from my grandma and her goodness passed on through her children.
Many thanks (and love) to Ohio family, especially Kim, Greg and Barb, for all the great love and care you showed her and uncle Frank through their senior years.
May you be remembered when eternal rewards are handed out!

It was my pleasure to serve as her apartment manager, though it was too brief a time period. :( She would always try to offer me money for doing things that were a part of my job. After I'd refuse, she'd then offer me some Nanners. I laughed and told her I don't like bananas. So then she handed me a small baggie of grapes and wouldn't take no for an answer! She was so sweet and vibrant and ornery! I missed her when she had to move out. Go rest, Granny, we'll see you again one day.
