Frank Fincher's Obituary
MANTUA Frank Fincher, 86 years of age, passed away Sunday October 1, 2017 at his residence. Born in Edhridge,Tennessee on March 22, 1931, he was the son of the late Zeb V. and Marylou (Belew) Fincher. A longtime resident of Mantua, he had been employed at Chrysler Stamping in Twinsburg, retiring after 30 years of employment. During the Korean Conflict, he proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. His family was very important to Mr. Fincher, and there will always be cherished memories of the times he spent with them going to family reunions in Tennessee. Frank was a loving grandfather to Kim (Greg) Starcher of Mantua, Tracy (Rich) Skladoni of Streetsboro, Jackie (Chris) Rivera of Twinsburg; dear brother to his twin sister Frances Colvert of Streetsboro; best pal to Greg Starcher of Ravenna and many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by his loving nephew Ed Davis; brothers Carl, Clyde and Lon Fincher and sisters Carmie Fincher and Ruby Davis. Funeral services will be Friday October 6, 2017, 11:00 A.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St.Rt. 44, Mantua, Ohio 44255, where visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Officiating will be Pastor Dennis Elkins. Final resting place will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Ravenna, Ohio, where Full Military honors will be observed by members of the U.S.Army Honor Guard Team, assisted by members of Mantua American Legion Post No. 193.
