Gail Marie Howington's Obituary
DEERFIELD Gail Marie Howington, 61 years of age, passed away Sunday October 2, 2016 at Alliance Community Hospital in Alliance, Ohio. Born in Geneva, Ohio on March 11, 1955, she was the daughter of Rupert and June (Hayes) Wood. A resident of Deerfield the past 7 years, Mrs. Howington had formerly lived in the Mantua area for many years. A 1974 graduate of Solon High School, Gail was a homemaker, and had formerly been employed at Walmart in Streetsboro. She enjoyed sewing, art work, computer games, and memories of ?Mimi? spending time with her grandchildren will forever be cherished by all of her family. On July 14, 1974 she married her devoted husband Wayne A. Howington who survives at their residence. Also surviving is her beloved son and daughter-in-law David (Vanessa) Howington of Edinburg Township, her caring mother June Wood and dear brother Bill (Mary) Wood both of Bainbridge Township and her loving grandchildren Chelsi-Lee and Bradley Howington. She was preceded in death by her father Rupert Wood and brother Ron Wood.Calling hours will be Thursday October 6, 2016 from 5:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St.Rt. 44, Mantua, Ohio 44255. Following cremation final resting place will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Bedford Hts., Ohio.
