Gary Foy's Obituary
Gary Foy, age 75, passed away on September 6, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.
Gary was the devoted husband of Sharon Foy, with whom he shared 48 beautiful years of marriage. Together, they built a life full of love, laughter, and unwavering support.
He was the proud father of Jenifer and Samantha (Mark), and the adoring grandfather of Tajah and Tyriq - each of whom brought him endless joy and pride.
He was the loving brother of Rodger (Terri), and the treasured son of the late Warren and Marian Foy. His deep love for his family was the steady heartbeat of his life.
Gary had a passion for life's simple joys - cars, trains, and a good game of bowling. He was a true handyman who could fix just about anything, always ready to help a neighbor or loved one with a project. He served with great care and commitment as a school board member for James A. Garfield in Garrettsville, Ohio, always putting students and community first.
And then there was Chewy - his faithful dog and constant companion - who held a special place in Gary's heart and brought him comfort and joy every single day.
Gary will be remembered for his steady presence, kind spirit, and the quiet strength he carried through life. He was deeply loved and will be forever missed.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Gary's memory be made to: JAG Athletic Boosters, c/o Ted Lysiak, 10235 St. Rt. 88, Garrettsville, Ohio.
