Gary B. Zizka, Sr.'s Obituary
MANTUA Gary B. Zizka, Sr., 67 years of age, passed away Tuesday May 23, 2017 at UH-Geauga Regional Medical Center in Clairdon Township, Ohio. Born in Cleveland, Ohio on November 5, 1949, he was the son of the late Egon and Lillian (Kolberg) Zizka. A resident of Mantua since 1994, he formerly was a longtime Cleveland resident. He was a member of St. Joseph?s Catholic Church in Mantua. Gary had been employed at Padanaplast in Aurora for over 30 years as a Quality Assurance Manager. He enjoyed playing his trumpet, and in his early years played with a traveling band. His children will always remember dads support in helping with their sporting activities as they grew up. On April 7, 1994, he married Judy A. Zizka who preceded him in death on February 17, 2006. Gary is survived by his devoted children Gary B. Zizka, Jr. and Christian ( Chatchadaphon) Zizka both of Mantua, Theresa Zizka of Youngstown, Ohio and Melissa Zizka of Brookpark, Ohio; his siblings Eugene (Linda) Zizka of Arizona, Richard Zizka of Cleveland and Elaine Zizka of South Carolina, and his two grandchildren Zacaery and Tyler. Calling hours will be Friday from 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St. Rt. 44, Mantua, Ohio 44255. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday May 27, 2017, 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph?s Catholic Church in Mantua with Rev. Edward Stafford officiating. (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH). Burial will take place on Tuesday May 30, 2017, 10:00 A.M. at Westlawn Cemetery, Rt. 82, Mantua Township, Ohio.
