SHALERSVILLE-MANTUA
Gayle I. Janosky, 70 years of age, passed away Friday April 3, 2020 at UH-Portage Medical Center in Ravenna, Ohio. Born in Hume, New York on September 27, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Dorothy (Goodremote) Hallock. She was raised in California, and moved to the Shalersville-Mantua area in 2010. A homemaker, she enjoyed gardening, flea markets and adding to her extensive and unique light house collection. On March 18, 2013, she married her husband Edward Janosky who survives at their home. Also surviving are her daughters Lisa Banuelos and Delia “ Dee Dee “ Banuelos both of California, son Victor (Helen) Banuelos, Jr. of Idaho; siblings Terry Hallock, Roberta Clements and Linda Warren; her grandchildren Shawn, Courtney, Robert and Elizabeth, and great-grandchild Sofia. She was preceded in death by her son Roman, siblings Lester Hallock, Robert Hallock, Barbara Hallock, Gloria Hallock, and her first husband Victor Banuelos, Sr. Visitation will be Friday April 10, 2020 at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St.Rt. 44, Mantua, Ohio 44255 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M., where private funeral services will then be held. Final resting place will then follow at Riverside Cemetery, Shalersville Township, Ohio. Her funeral service can be viewed on the funeral home website www.greenfamilyfuneralhome.com beginning Saturday April 11, 2020 due to current health concerns, and condolences and memories may be shared at the website at this time.
