Georganna Herndon, 54 years of age, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday April 3, 2021 at Trumbull Regional Medical Center in Warren, Ohio. She was born in Ravenna, Ohio on February 2, 1967, the daughter of the late George and Patricia (Fairfield) Apthorpe. A lifetime resident of Windham, and graduate of Windham High School, Mrs. Herndon presently was employed as a medical assistant at Picone Family Medicine in Windham. She previously worked at the Windham Clinic for 12 years for Dr. Peng. While Georganna enjoyed gardening, reading, and animals, times spent with her grandchildren were those which brought her the greatest amount of happiness. For those who knew Georganna, memories of a caring, selfless and truly happy lady will continue forever. Survivors include her husband of 37 years James Herndon at home, children Tyler J. Herndon of Warren, Larissa (Matt) Long of Streetsboro, and Taylor Herndon of Ravenna; siblings James “Jimbo” (Sheryl) Apthrope, and Debbie Blewitt, both of Windham. Also surviving are her cherished grandchildren Brady, Kenslee, Emree, Liam, Charlotte, Addison, Aubrey, and Ava. No calling hours. Cremation. A Celebration of Life at a later date will be announced.
