George Kuhn's Obituary
GARRETTSVILLEGeorge M. Kuhn, Jr., 65 years of age, passed away Wednesday June 1, 2011 at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna, Ohio following a brief illness. Born on February 13, 1946 in Monessen, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late George and Helen (Nezbeda) Kuhn. Formerly of Pennsylvania, he had been a resident of the Garrettsville-Nelson areas since 1972. Mr. Kuhn was employed for 33 years as a crane operator at Chrysler Stamping in Twinsburg, retiring in 2004. A U.S. Navy Veteran of the Viet Nam Era, he proudly served his country seeing action in Danang. He was a lifetime member of V.F. W. Post No. 5067 in Garrettsville and F.O. E. No. 311 of Warren, Ohio. Mr. Kuhn enjoyed riding Harley Motorcycles, playing the guitar and was the leader of his band Leather & Lace. On November 19, 2006, he married Cynthia K. "Cindy" Lemasters who survives at their home. Also surviving is his daughter Amy Stroller of Garrettsville, brother Richard Kuhn of Alabama, sister Eileen of Cuyahoga Falls, his grandchildren Travis Patterson and Ryan Stroller and his mother-in-law Donna Lemasters of Palmyra. No calling hours. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service at his residence will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua.
