Gerald G. Gauding's Obituary
EDINBURG Gerald G. Gauding, eldest son to Sylvester and Kathleen (VanAlstyne) Gauding, passed away at home on Saturday February 4, 2017. ?Jerry? was a 1959 graduate of Ravenna Township School and a resident of Blackhorse and Edinburg. He retired from Ravens Fontaine Trailer in Kent. He enjoyed spending time at the family farm in Sardis, Ohio. Jerry is survived by his wife Betty (Lambert) Gauding; daughters Lori Shuty of Parma, Jerrilyn (Eric) Peoples of Ravenna; step-daughter Robyn (Rick) Etto of Craig Beach; Martina Gauding; and son Christian Gauding. He is also survived by brothers Dwaine (Marcia) Gauding of Nicholasville, Ky., James (Crystal) Gauding of Randolph; sisters Joyce Harris of Kent and Suzanne (Paul) Moskum of Ravenna. Jerry is also survived by six grandchildren; Danielle (Joe) Lambert; Hayley Lecsak; James (Samantha) Pettit; Patrick (Katelynn) Pettit; Clayton and Nathan Shuty, and four great-grandchildren. No calling hours. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
