Geraldine Herron's Obituary
STREETSBORO Geraldine A. Herron, 82 years of age, became Our Gift to God On Monday February 21, 2011 at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna, Ohio. Mrs. Herron was God's Gift to Us on June 10, 1928 in McGuffintown, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Marion and Marian (Melvin) Sutley. A homemaker, she was a former resident of Greenville, Pennsylvania, moving to the Streetsboro and Shalersville areas in 1993.An active member of His Ministry, she enjoyed gardening, eating out, painting and drawing which included chalk renderings and was an avid reader. Survivors include her son Marshall Weldon of Florida, daughters Jacqueline (Arthur) Keen of Sharon, Pennsylvania and Nancy (Rick) Perrine of Dublin, Pennsylvania, her sister Virginia Redfoot of Cochranton, Pennsylvania as well as 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death on May 13, 1996 by her husband Raymond J. Herron and 1 sister. Calling hours will be Wednesday February 23, 2011 from 5:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. at His Ministry, 3051 St.Rt. 82, Aurora, Ohio, where her funeral services will begin at 7:00 P.M. with Pastor Jim Atkins officiating. Procession will form Thursday 10:30 A.M. at the church with graveside committal to follow at 11:00 A.M. at Westlawn Cemetery in Mantua Township, Ohio. Arrangements are by the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua.
