Glen F. "Beany" Delphia's Obituary
SOLONGlen F. "Beany" Delphia, 56 years of age, passed away Saturday April 10, 2010 at Solon Medical Campus. Glen was born in Cleveland, Ohio on August 5, 1953, the son of the late Albert and Edna (Grezlik) Delphia. A lifetime resident of Solon, he was a graduate of Solon High School. Glen was presently employed as a truck driver for Midland Concrete & Sand Transportation in Cleveland, and formerly was employed at Morbito Trucking. He enjoyed collecting plates and pictures of Bald Eagles and watching them in flight, camping, motorcycle riding and was always up to party with his family and friends, who will always remember " Beany " for his smile and personality plus attitude. Survivors include his children Brenda ( Jeff ) Hrubik of Hiram and Monica (Patrick ) Fuller of Youngstown; brothers Bill ( Gayle ) Delphia of Twinsburg and Dennis Delphia of Bedford; his sister Judie (Dale ) Rzucidlo of Parma and his grandchildren Jude, Julius, Jace, Owen, Ella and Natalia. He also is survived by his longtime companion Cindy Delphia of Brooklyn Hts. He was preceded in death by his brother Alan Delphia. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4:00 P.M.-7:30 P.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, St. Rt. 44 at the corner of Pioneer Trail (S. of Rt. 422) Mantua, where his funeral service will begin Wednesday April 14, 2010 at 7:30 P.M. A private burial will take place for his family only.
