Glenn Marstiller's Obituary
WINDHAM Glenn J. Marstiller, 88 years of age, passed away Sunday November 9, 2014 at his residence. Born in Elkins, West Virginia on August 14, 1926, he was the son of the late Glenn S. and Caroline (Hamrick) Marstiller. A resident of the Windham area for over 60 years, Mr. Marstiller had been employed as a tow motor operator at Harbinson-Walker, retiring after 44 years of service. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. For those who knew and loved him, Mr. Marstiller will forever be remembered as a "Complete Family Man", always placing his family first. On November 30, 1952, he married his beloved wife Ruth R. (Schmidt) Marstiller, who survives at their home, having been blessed with 62 years of marriage together. Also surviving are his children Glenn M. (Wendy Calinoff) Marstiller of Garrettsville, Glenna Sue (Dale) Myer of Aurora, Glenda Lou Blackshere and Glennis Marie (William) Barnes both of Windham, his sister Eleanor Tacy of Daily, West Virginia, 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 1 grandson Jon M. Blackshere, 6 brothers and 2 sisters. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua, where funeral services will be held Thursday November 13, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Final resting place will follow at Windham Township Cemetery.
