STREETSBORO
Helen M. Brna, 98 years of age of Streetsboro, passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Ravenna, Ohio. Born at Beachwood, Ohio on June 26, 1923, she was the last child of eight children born to the late Frank D. and Elizabeth (Halasz) Toth. A graduate of Mantua Center High School, Helen was a longtime resident of Streetsboro, and a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Streetsboro. A homemaker, Helen enjoyed watching birds and wildlife, doing crossword puzzles, and family time which included supporting the activities of her grandchildren. Her children remember the family cars trips that mom and dad took them on especially to southern parts of the United States. Helen is survived by her sons, Craig (Sherry) Brna of Ravenna, and George (Eileen Siegenthaler) Brna of Streetsboro, 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Brna in 1991; her children, Allen Brna, and Elaine Gleason, brother Frank Toth, and sisters, Margaret Lawton, Dorothy Rowles, Elizabeth Brown, Florence Crouch, Verna Phillips, and Francis Panik. Visitation will be Saturday, January 29, 2022 at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St. Rt. 44, Mantua, Ohio 44255 from 1:00 P.M.-2:00 P.M., where her funeral service will then begin at 2:00 P.M. Officiating will be Rev. Edward Stafford. Final resting to follow at Riverside Cemetery, Shalersville Township.
