Hillman Baker's Obituary
MANTUA-SHALERSVILLE Hillman Baker, 81 years of age, passed away Thursday May 16, 2013 at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna, Ohio. Born in Big Sandy, Tennessee on October 28, 1931, he was the son of the late James and Inez (Brown) Baker.A resident of the Mantua - Shalersville area the past 40 years, he had been employed as a manufacturing supervisor at Kendal Manufacturing retiring in 1999. Hillman enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and bird watching in his leisure time. On December 3, 1966, he married Linda (Giovanelli) Baker who survives at their home. Also surviving are his children Jim (Lori) Baker, Debra (David) Comer and Denise White all of Georgia, Rebecca (Michael) Tersigni of Stow, Ohio, Susan Clunk of Streetsboro and Diane (David) Boles of Tennessee, sisters Imogene Dobra of Tennessee and Joanne Young of Arizona, as well as 14 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister Dorothy Dobra. Calling hours will be Monday from 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, St.Rt. 44 at the corner of 4668 Pioneer Trail, Mantua, where his funeral service will be held Tuesday May 21, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. Final resting place will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Shalersville Township. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Robinson Memorial Visiting Nurse & Hospice.
