Bainbridge TownshipIrene G. Fill, 87 years of age, a longtime resident of Bainbridge Township, passed away Friday May 22, 2009 at Kensington Care Center in Aurora. Mrs. Fill was born on July 11, 1921 in Cleveland, Ohio the daughter of the late Apollinia and Josephine (Macieski) Baczkiewicz. Mrs. Fill was a resident of the Mantua area the past 13 years. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Solon V.F.W. and had been a homemaker all of her life. Survivors include her son, Robert (Diana) Fill of Mantua; grandchildren, Amy (Michael Hill) Fill and Robert (Marie) Fill and great grandchildren, Sylvia and Mason. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter in 1986 and her son, Alex in 1974. No calling hours or services. A private family burial at Restland Cemetery in Bainbridge Township will take place. Memorials are suggested in her name to the Mantua-Shalersville Fire Department. Arrangements are by the Green Family Funeral Home and Crematory Service in Mantua.
