Irene D. Kasicki's Obituary
RRAVENNA-HIRAMIrene D. Kasicki, 86 years of age, passed away Wednesday September 17, 2014 at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna, Ohio. Born in Cleveland, Ohio on April 15, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Ewa (Warylo) Kasicki. A resident of Ravenna the past 3 years, she formerly was a Hiram resident for several years. Irene had been employed as office manager at Cleveland Twisted Drill Company, retiring after 39 years of service. An avid shopper, she loved to travel including trips to Poland and many additional portions of Europe, as well as times spent with her nieces on traveling to Frankenmuth, Michigan. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Mantua. Survivors include her nephews Thomas Kasicki of Parma, Steve ( Nancy ) Stobierski of Ravenna, nieces Paula ( George) Krebs of Hiram and Nancy ( Israel Rodriguez) Kasicki of Wellington, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her brother Chester Kasicki, sister Stephanie Stobierski and nephew John Kasicki. No calling hours. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday September 20, 2014, 12:00 noon at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Mantua with Rev. Michael Garvey officiating. She will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio. Arrangements are by the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua.
