James D. Baldwin, 90 years of age, passed away Thursday, April 15, 2021 at his residence in Garrettsville. Born on September 25, 1930 in Hartford, Ohio, he was the son of the late George and Lucille Baldwin. He was a graduate of Hartford High School, and was a resident of Garrettsville since 1969. Mr. Baldwin was a member of Covenant Bible Church in Garrettsville, and Hartford Masonic Lodge F.&A.M. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. Mr. Baldwin had been the owner-operator of City Disposal Service, caring for customers in Garrettsville, Mantua, and Hiram. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and baseball. On August 14, 1949, he married Gladys (Stafford) Baldwin who survives at their home. Also surviving is his son James B. (Lorrie) Baldwin of Windham, grandchildren Jessica, Dawn, Chad and Tara, and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Don F. Baldwin. No calling hours or services.
