James V. Bidlack's Obituary
STREETSBORO James V. Bidlack, 73 years of age, became Our Gift to God on Monday April 11, 2011 at The Woodlands at Robinson in Ravenna, Ohio. Mr. Bidlack was God's Gift to Us on November 13, 1937 in Geneva, Ohio the son of the late Carl and Edna (Hood) Bidlack.A graduate of Madison Memorial High School in 1955, Jim was employed as district manager of several newspapers including the Painesville Telegraph, Ashtabula Star Beacon and the Record Courier. A former member of the Madison Jaycees, he also had been active in Boy Scouts for several years. A resident of Streetsboro since 2005, he had formerly resided in Ravenna and Mantua. Jim was an active member of the Family of Jesus Fellowship in Ravenna until his illness in 2003, yet always remained devoted to his religious beliefs. On October 6, 1962, he married Louanna M. (Behm) Bidlack who survives at their home. Also surviving are his sons Duane Bidlack of Streetsboro and Dana (Carrie) Bidlack of Mantua, brother Richard (Pat) Bidlack of Winesburg, Ohio and his grandchildren Aaron, Cheyenne, Justin and Madison. He was preceded in death by his sister Shirley Bidlack. Calling hours will be Thursday April 14, 2011 from 6:00-7:30 P.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua, where his funeral service will begin at 7:30 P.M. with Rev. James Jones officiating. Jim will be laid to rest Friday April 15,2011 at 10:00 A.M. at Westlawn Cemetery in Mantua Township,Ohio.
