James J. Goggin's Obituary
STREETSBORO James J. Goggin, 25 years of age, passed away Tuesday April 1, 2014. Born in Mayfield Hts., Ohio on December 5, 1988, he was the son of James F. and Connie S. (Metz) Goggin. A resident of Streetsboro the past 3 years, James was formerly a longtime Mantua area resident, and a 2007 graduate of Crestwood School System. Presently employed as an elevator constructor at Otis Elevator and a member of Local No. 45, he formerly had been employed by Sheet Metal Local No. 33. James will always be remembered by family and friends as an all around "Good Guy" and the "Best Kid" his parents could want. A friend to all who he came to know, James had a "Heart of Gold". Spending time with friends and golfing were his favorite pastimes. Family and friends will forever cherish his love for them, as well as his great sense of humor. James is survived by his loving parents James F. and Connie S. Goggin of Aurora, his brother Thomas (Jessica) Goggin of Shalersville, sister Colleen (Rob) Hineman of Mantua, grandmothers Sheila Goggin of Ravenna and Odine Metz of Streetsboro and many aunts and uncles. James was also very special uncle to Chloe and Robbie. Calling hours will be Friday from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua. Graveside funeral services will be Saturday April 5, 2014, 10:00 a.m. at Westlawn Cemetery in Mantua Township, Ohio. Where he will be laid to rest.
