James P. Morgan's Obituary
OLMSTED TWP. James P. Morgan, 66 years of age, passed away Wednesday October 18, 2017 at the Louis Stokes VA Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Born on December 25, 1950 in Cleveland, Ohio, he was the son of the late James W. and Caroline (Novak) Morgan. Jim was a 1969 graduate of E.E. Root High School in North Royalton where he grew up, and was a longtime Fairview Park resident moving to Olmsted Township three months ago. He was a graduate of Cleveland State University, and served with honor in the U.S. Air Force. He had been employed at CBS Transportation. Jim enjoyed making model airplanes as those which he had worked on in the Air Force.On June 13, 1980, he married his beloved wife Margaret ?Marge? (Lockard) Morgan who survives at their home. Also surviving is his devoted daughter Kristin Morgan at home; his dear brothers John (Sue) Morgan, Sr., of Goddard, Kansas, Joel Morgan of Corona, California; dear sister Jacalyn (John) Rock of Medina, Ohio; and several loving nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Monday October 23, 2017 from 4:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. at the Chambers Funeral Home of North Olmsted, Ohio, 29150 Lorain Road at Stearns Road. Mass of Christian will be Tuesday October 24, 2017, 11:30 A.M. at St. Angela Merici Church, 20970 Lorain Road, Fairview Park, Ohio with Fr. Timothy J. Roth officiating. (Everyone Please Meet At The Church). Final resting place will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Cleveland, Ohio, where full military honors will be observed by United States Air Force Honor Guard Team, assisted by members of Mantua American Legion Post No. 193.
