James Kenneth Rayl, 54 years of age, passed away Saturday July 28, 2018 at Akron City Hospital. James was born on September 14, 1963 in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, the son of James and Kathlyn (Ludick) Rayl. Jim never met a stranger and was loving and giving to everyone. His interests in later life were electronics and computer programing. He never turned down a challenge on a pool table. A BBQ grill and cook offs always excited him, rain or shine. He was preceded in death by his father James Rayl. Jim is survived by his mother Kathlyn Rayl of Mantua; his daughter Tiffany Torres of Lafayette, Tenn.; brother Scott Rayl of Kentucky, extended step- family brothers Christopher, Chad and step-sister Lori. A special thanks to all of Jim’s friends and family for their support during his lengthy illness with cancer. The staff at Akron City Hospital 3 E Palliative Hospice Unit was a blessing of love, caring and support which thank you will never be said enough. No calling hours or services. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements are by the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua where condolences and memories may be viewed at www.greenfamilyfuneralhome.com.
