Mom was an amazing woman. I will never forget her running around, taking care of so many people all the time. She was a true servant of all. I will never forget all the wonderful times that I have spending with her at her house. She was very influential to me for liking to watch birds. She was such a great blessing to me as her son-in-law and to our four beautiful girls. She will be greatly missed by me and her granddaughters. We loved her very much.
So sorry to hear of Jan passing. She was so calm and caring. We are so glad to share the neighborhood with you.
Janet was my sister in love. She was loved by so many. I just loved her from the minute I met her. I always enjoyed when her and Ed would come up deer hunting with my father in love and husband, all the fun the laughs. She would bring all the food and make the meals. One day when she was young she told her mom she wanted her to have a baby, mom told her to ask dad and 9 months later my husband was born.. COVID made it so we couldn't see her she will be missed by so many. Praying for Ed and family. Patty Killinger
So sorry to hear of the passing of Janet, such a wonderful lady. Our condolences to the family.
I considered Jan as a mentor and role model for Christian women. She was the head Deaconess for as long as I can remember, she always helped us to fulfill our roles and grow as servants. Always showing her kindness by sharing flowers, visits and other gestures of love. Truly a wonderful servant of God that I will miss.💖💖💖
A candle was lit in remembrance
Growing up, Jan was my Sunday School teacher for a year or 2. Dealing with me at that age could be an exasperating task, but every memory I have of Jan is of graciousness. When I think of Jan, the word that comes to my mind is steady. Whenever I have visited Crossroads over the last 30 years and walked into the sanctuary and looked toward the front left, there is Jan with her husband, there to worship the Lord. Her kindness, thoughtfulness and love flowed as a steady stream to those around her. I have been blessed by her life and the friendship of her children and she remains in my mind as a shining example of a devoted follower of Jesus
