Janice C. Kovacs -Toplovich, 62 years of age, passed away Sunday February 9, 2020. Born in Brecksville, Ohio on December 31, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Francis Childrey. She was a graduate of Brecksville High School in 1976. She had resided in Freedom the past 25 years, where Janice was well known for raising and breeding Great Danes. She enjoyed gardening and was a true animal lover, and will always be remembered for entertaining family and friends and her way of making everyone feel special. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend will be sadly missed with her passing. She is survived by her husband Frank P. Toplovich at home, her children Robert (Melinda) Kovacs of Kent, Frank C. Toplovich of Ravenna, Shaun Toplovich of Streetsboro, Kelly (Jeremy) Boulton of Seven Hills, Amy (Lee) Gray of Ravenna and Sara (Brian) Hanko of Streetsboro. Her brother Thomas Smith of Canton, sister Linda Childrey of Kent, and 11 grandchildren also survive. Calling hours will be Thursday at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St, Rt. 44, Mantua, Ohio 44255 from 5:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. where her funeral service will be held Friday February 14, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. Mr. John Hite will officiate, and final resting place will follow at Drakesburg Cemetery, Freedom Twp., Ohio.
