Jim Berzinskas' Obituary
James A. “Jim” Berzinskas, age 61 of Mantua Township, passed away Monday, March 18, 2024.
Jim was born on August 6, 1962 in Cleveland, Ohio to Adam and Marianne (Kalapos) Berzinskas (both deceased). He graduated from Crestwood High School in 1981 and went on to attend Trade classes and began his career as a Die Cutting Pressman. Jim was a dedicated employee at Graphic Packaging in Solon, where he was still currently working.
Jim was an avid fisherman and was always known as the life of the party. He was a great storyteller and he made friends wherever he went. You could always find him helping people, whether it was cutting wood, fixing a tractor or anything he could do to help, but the biggest joy in Jim’s life was his family, especially his wife Annette and nephew Jason.
Jim is survived by his wife of 29 years, Annette (Blanc) Berzinskas; 2 sisters, Donna Berns (Greg Wolfe) of Akron and Dianne (Dan) Brickman of Medina; sisters-in-law Betty (Chad) Ruben and Kathy Blanc (Karl Opatrny). He was the cherished uncle of Jason, Nicole, Jillann, Alexa, Donny, Hannah, Haley, Heather, Hope, Alyssa, Juliana, Annie and Kyle; great uncle of Kylie, Brent, Alexander, Jordan and Jensen. He also leaves behind his cousin Tom (Dana) Husa and a multitude of friends and extended family. Along with his parents he was also preceded in death by a great nephew, Gunnar.
Friends may gather for visitation at Green Funeral Care, 4668 Pioneer Trail (at the corner of St. Rt. 44), Mantua, on Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 12 – 3 p.m.
