John G. Fudella's Obituary
MANTUA John G. Fudella, 55 years of age, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at the Cleveland Clinic Hospital. Born in Cleveland on October 30, 1956, he was the son of the late Eugene J. and JoAnne (Cunningham) Fudella. Formerly of Maple Hts., he was a graduate of Maple Hts. High School in 1974, and was a resident of the Mantua-Shalersville areas the past 20 years. John was a man with many interests that included NASCAR, sports, hunting, fishing, gardening, the outdoors and making his homemade sausage. Yet to John, his many friends and wonderful family, as well as the "Apple of his Eye", his granddaughter Brooke Sayre, were the most cherished treasures of life. On September 20, 1980, he married Kathryn A. (Hucik) Fudella who survives at their home. Also surviving are his children John E. Fudella at home and Laura (Tim) Sayre of Akron, sisters Jean Grady of Eastlake, Carol (Andy Selep) Fudella of Streetsboro and Joni (Jack) Kubec of Mentor, his granddaughter Brooke Sayre, and his many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his 4-legged companion Wrigley. Calling hours will be Sunday from 4:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua, where his funeral service will be held Monday November 14, 2011 at 11:30 A.M. with Rev. Susi Kawolics officiating. John will be laid to rest at Westlawn Cemetery in Mantua Township, Ohio.
