John Michael Kalcic's Obituary
t is with great sadness to announce the passing of John Michael Kalcic of Deerfield, Ohio. He passed August 31 at home surrounded by his loving family.
John leaves behind his beloved wife, Carol Lynn Eboch, daughter Cheyenne Lynn Kalcic, sons Marc Anthony Eboch , Adam Christopher Debonis and Cody Markusic. His siblings Gerard Kalcic, Thomas Kalcic of Hiram, Ohio, Kathleen "Rosie" Kalcic (Clifton McNeely) of Cortland, Ohio and James Kalcic of Arizona. Nieces and nephews Tiffany Kalcic, Stephen Kalcic, Matthew Kalcic and Michael Galloway (Jessica) of Northfield; great nieces and nephews, Summer and Dylan Lanphear, and Hanna Boles. Brother in law David Steinbrick of Bedford.
John was friends to many, mentor to dozens, admired and respected by everyone who he came in contact with him. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who asked no matter the time, day or weather he would be ready to jump into action.
John was employed by Laurel Lake Retirement Community in Hudson where he has worked Maintenance Mechanic II department . John has worked at Laurel Lake going on 10 years now and had considered everyone at Laurel Lake as a part of his family.
When John wasn't working he enjoyed spending quality time with his family, such as boating and fishing on Lake Milton, attending special events at the Lake Milton Winery and working on cars with Cheyenne.

John will be missed greatly and in everyone's hearts daily.
Family and friends may gather for visitation at Green Funeral Care, 4668 Pioneer Trail, Mantua, Saturday, September 13, 2025 from 10am - 2 pm, immediately followed by a funeral service at 2 pm. John will be laid to rest at Mottown Cemetery in Deerfield Twp.
