I am saddened to learn of Jons passing, we were friends for many years during our teens and all the way through high school. I cant remember all the times we played basketball wherever we could I moved away and lost touch with him and I simply cant describe the many fun times we had as young men. Ill always have fond memories of JD. My most sincere condolences, peace be with you. DC
We know our words can't take away your sense of loss, but we're hoping you can find some comfort in knowing the memories you share are forever. Keeping you all in our hearts.

I loved the video / photos!! That smile of Jon's tells the story of a big hearted guy that loves his family and friends.I remember so many happy times with Jon as my neighbor on Pisgah Dr, never a dull moment with kids activities and gatherings in the neighborhood.Tony, Eric, and Jen...your Dad was a great man. I am so sorry for your loss.
I met Jon while working at Kmart together in Toledo. He was getting tired of driving from Monroe every day,so we rented an apt together.Lots of good times together
Anita Jones and I were very pleased to have Jon be a member of wedding party back in 1984,Jon and I played softball and bowled together for quite a few years. I am also well aware of his nickname "The Doctor "in the card playing arena. Although Jon and I didn't see each other as much as we would have liked, he was a dear fr3to Anita and myself, and he will be missed. Our hearts go out to his family for his loss he was a good man, and I sm sure a very good father.
