Joseph Hunter's Obituary
MANTUA Joseph Mathew Hunter, Sr., 57 years of age, passed away Wednesday June 3, 2015 at his residence following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Belleville, Michigan on November 18, 1957, he was the son of Richard and M. Louise (Bradley) Hunter. A longtime Mantua area resident, he had attended Crestwood Schools. Joey was a self employed auto body repairman, and he enjoyed using his expertise in restoring old cars including a Model T. Hunting was another pastime that he found pleasure in. On May 6, 1994, he married Lisa J. (Craig) Hunter who survives at their home. Additional survivors include his children Joseph M. Hunter, Jr. of Sagamore Hills, Bo P. Hunter of Minnesota and Starlene L. Hunter of Columbus, Ohio, his father Richard Hunter and siblings David Hunter, James Hunter and Linda Bunting all of Florida and other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother M. Louise Hunter, father-in-law Don Craig and brother-in-law John Bunting. No calling hours. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of His Life will be held on Saturday June 13, 2015 at The Old Country Inn on St. Rt. 82 in Mantua Township beginning at 3:00 P.M. Arrangements are by the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua.
