Judith Lynn Komandt's Obituary
PARKMAN Judith Lynn Komandt, 72 years of age, passed away Saturday August 9, 2014 at her residence in Parkman. Born in Euclid, Ohio on July 9, 1942, she was the daughter of Arthur and Ruth Kruse. A graduate of Euclid High School, her love for music included playing the clarinet in the school band and playing the organ at her church and the piano at home. Lynn had been employed by the United Postal Service in various positions, and at the time of her retirement she was the officer in charge at the Parkman Post Office. Lynn served her community as both a Firefighter/Paramedic at the Parkman and Troy Township Volunteer Fire Departments where she was an active member. A resident of Parkman since 2000, it was at the post office that she met her husband Dale, and together they could often be seen riding their motorcycles here and there, as they enjoyed their years of marriage caring for each other and seeing the sights around them by riding. Lynn is survived by her loving and devoted husband A. Dale Komandt at their home4, her step-son Timothy ( Danielle ) Komandt of Parkman, step-daughter Lois ( Paul ) Hissa of Florida and her step-children Tabitha and Caitlin. No calling hours. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Private burial is at Overlook Cemetery in Parkman. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial donations to any local Kennel Club, as Lynn loved dogs and for many years had trained them. Arrangements are by the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua.
