Judith A. Parrino's Obituary
AURORA-MANTUA TWP. Judith A. Parrino, 75 years of age, passed away Wednesday May 6, 2015 at Akron City Hospital in Akron, Ohio. Born on January 14, 1940 in Ravenna, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Helen (Ulvinen) MacDowell. A lifetime resident of Aurora and Mantua Township areas, Judy was a 1958 graduate of Aurora High School. Judy had been employed in the Human Resources Department at Revco D.S.Inc. in Twinsburg retiring after over 20 years of service. An avid reader and Cleveland Browns fan, she also enjoyed working crossword puzzles, yet one of her greatest pleasures was her home which she kept in immaculate order both inside and outside. Survivors include her son Dino (Meghan) Parrino of Shalersville, daughters Barbara Parrino and Connie (Mark Andress) Head both of Texas, brother Raymond MacDowell of Aurora, sister Patricia (Jerry) Zlamal of Ravenna, 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and sister-in-law Dorothy MacDowell of Streetsboro, as well as many nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces. She was preceded in death by her brothers Richard and Robert MacDowell and 2 grandchildren. Calling hours will be Saturday May 9, 2015 from 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St.Rt. 44, Mantua, Ohio 44255.A graveside funeral service for Mrs. Parrino will be held Monday May 11, 2015 at Aurora City Cemetery at 11:00 A.M. where she will then be laid to rest.
