Judy M. Bohanon's Obituary
BURTON Judy M. Bohanon, (DeBord) 64 years of age, Became Our Gift to God on Friday January 29, 2010 at her residence. Judy was God's Gift to Us on May 5, 1945 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri the daughter of the late Lowell E. and Ruby I. (Hahn) Payne. A homemaker, Judy was a 25 year resident of Burton, until moving to Windham in 2007. A very active member of The Church At Troy, she was involved with the Ladies Missionary at her church, and assisted with nursing home ministry along with her husband. They traveled with Amazing Grace Mission, including time spent at the Geauga County Fair. On November 21, 2000, she married Joseph C. Bohanon who survives at their home. Also surviving are 2 sons Jim DeBord of Garrettsville and Ken DeBord of Diamond; 2 daughters Cathy (Dave) Szyska of Troy Twp. and Deborah (Brian) Patrick of Cleveland; her brothers Bob (Teresa) Payne and Don Hunsaker both of Cape Girardeau and Danny (Rose) Dyer of Wisconsin; sisters Diane, Betty, Peggy, Patty and 17 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister Jean Mayhew. Visitation will be Tuesday February 2, 2010 from 5:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. at The Church At Troy, 18712 Mumford Road, Garrettsville, where her funeral service will begin at 7:00 P.M. Officiating will be her devoted husband Joseph C. Bohanon. Judy will be laid to rest Wednesday February 3, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at The Church At Troy Cemetery.
