Julius A. Toth, 75 years of age, passed away Thursday June 24, 2021. Born in Frankfurt, Germany on September 26, 1945, he was the son of the late Julius and Anna (Lazslo) Toth, Sr. He had been a longtime resident of Cuyahoga County, living in Portage County the past 15 years. Mr. Toth had been employed as a mechanic for the City of Rocky River for over 20 years, from where he then retired. He was very proud to have served his country with honor in the U.S. Coast Guard. He enjoyed fishing, darting, hunting, and was one of the founding members of the Frontiersmen in Ravenna, and also a member of Loyal Order of Moose No. 1082 in Mogadore. Julius was well known for assisting members of Leisure Lake Campground where he too was a member. A “ Proud Grandpa” he loved his grandchildren, just as they loved him so much. Mr. Toth is survived by his children, Robert Toth, and Daniel (Laura) Toth, both of Ravenna, Michael (Rachael) Toth of North Olmsted, Patricia Toth-Ruebensaal of Parma, siblings Laszlo Toth, and Anne Marie (John) Szatloczki, of Girard. 10 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild also survive. He also will be remembered as an uncle, and great-uncle to many. His brother Zoltan Toth preceded him in death. Calling hours will be Wednesday June 30, 2021, at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St.Rt. 44, Mantua, Ohio 44255, from 10:00 A.M.-12:00 Noon, where his funeral service will then begin at Noon. Final resting place will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Cleveland, Ohio, where military honors will be provided by members of Mantua American Legion Post No. 193.
