I used to ask Karl to help me coach a fall ball baseball team. He was my first call, always. I would tell him that I needed his help because he got through to the kids in a way I couldn't. Which was true, partly. He made playing and practicing a blast for the kids. He had a way of connecting. The rest of the truth is he made coaching a blast for me! I'll always remember him well. As I know the kids and parents who he knew and touched will. Rest well . I'll see you later! RIGHT???
