Kim Urban, of Mantua, our beautiful Mother, the best Grammie, loving partner and loyal friend, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2022, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Kim was born on April 30, 1954, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of the late Gerald and Dorothy (Truman) Walker. A long time area resident, Kim was a 1972 graduate of Crestwood High School. She had been employed as a manager at Estee Lauder in Aurora for 16 years. A vivacious lady, she will be remembered for her traveling with her dear friends Gary and Karen Hogan, her cooking and baking skills, shopping with Megan, and as an avid Indians and Cavs supporter. The memories she created with family, including her grandchildren whom she loved and adored, will remain forever. Kim is survived by her children, Gary (Lisa) Urban, Melanie (Eric) Schoch, Megan (Randy) Miller, all of Mantua, and Rachel (Tim King) Urban of North Royalton; grandchildren Tucker, Emma, Dillon, Ryder, Abbey, Reagan, Grahm, Parker, and Callie. Kim is also survived by her sweetheart Ed Douglas. Her sister Janet Christensen preceded her in death. No calling hours. Final resting place is at Westlawn Cemetery, Mantua Twp., Ohio. A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, July 6, 2022, 5:00 P.M. at Parkside Church in Chagrin Falls.
