Kirk Lee Johnson's Obituary
Obituary
MANSFIELD-AURORA
Kirk Lee Johnson, 40 years of age, passed away Tuesday December 4, 2018 unexpectedly in Mansfield, Ohio. Born in Mansfield, Ohio on February 8, 1978, he was the son of Richard Retton and Mary Johnson. A lifetime Mansfield resident, Kirk was a graduate of Mansfield High School, and had been self- employed in the construction and home improvement business. He will be remembered for the love of his children, often finding himself happier with children than adults. While his passing leaves those who loved him with grief, they also have cherished memories of a wonderful husband, father, son and special man to cherish forever. On August 8, 2015, he married his beloved wife Vickie (Henderson) Johnson who survives at home; his devoted children Austin Johnson and Daylen Johnson both of Mansfield and Kaylee Johnson of West Virginia; father Richard Retton of Texas and mother Mary Johnson of Florida; mother-in-law Irene Henderson of Aurora and many other special friends. He was preceded in death by his dear sister Bianca Baker, his father-in-law Rex Henderson in 2003, and his loving grandparents Jim and Rose Johnson who raised him for many years. No calling hours. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at Cornerstone Church of Aurora on Saturday December 15, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Drew Carroll officiating. Arrangements are by the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua where condolences and memories may be viewed at www.greenfamilyfuneralhome.com.
