Larry Robert Cornell's Obituary
Larry Robert Cornell Sr., age 77, of Aurora, Ohio, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, April 21st, 2025. He was born July 8th, 1947 to the late Walter and Iva Cornell in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania.
Larry lived a full and meaningful life. He loved walking his dogs, organizing family reunions, playing bass guitar, fishing and spending time with the love of his life, his "babydoll", Marie. He proudly served in the United States Army and fought in the Vietnam War. He later became a successful medical equipment engineer, began a school called RSTI and owned several of his own businesses over the years.
Larry is survived by Marie, his loving wife of 59 years, his brothers, Bill, Melvin, Ron & Paul, his children, Jennifer & Dustin, his grandchildren, Ashleigh, Lauren, Nick, Drake, Makenzie, Colin, Adam, Abby, Skylar, Beckham, Lilah and Jetta, an additional 8 great-grandchildren and his two dogs, Rambo & Ruby. Along with his parents, he is proceeded in death by his son, Larry Cornell Jr., his brother, Evan and sisters, Vivian and Birdie. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
Family and friends may gather to celebrate Larry's life at Green Funeral Care in Mantua on Saturday, April 26th. Visitation will be held from 1-3pm, followed immediately by a memorial service at 3pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to your local animal shelter in Larry's memory.
