Laszlo Kollin's Obituary
TWINSBURG-UNIVERSITY HTS. Laszlo Kollin, 90 years of age, passed away Wednesday March 30, 2011 at his residence in Twinsburg, Ohio. Mr. Kollin was born on September 30, 1920 in Hungary the son of the late Jeno and Fani Kollin. A resident of Twinsburg the past 2 years, he formerly was a longtime resident of University Hts., Ohio. Mr. Kollin was employed at Lab Fabricators in Cleveland, retiring in 1982. He was a POW for over 4 years during the Holocaust. He enjoyed fishing, but his greatest moments were the times being "Best Friends" with his family that he loved so very much. He is survived by his devoted daughter Susan (Thomas) Wiegand of Twinsburg, his loving grandchildren Lori (Eric) Hoffman of Streetsboro and Scott (Melissa) Wiegand of Arizona and his cherished great-grandchildren Ayva, Zachary and Hannah. Funeral services will be Sunday April 3, 2011 1:30 P.M. in the chapel of Hillcrest Memorial Park 26700 Aurora Road, Bedford Hts., Ohio with Rabbi Susan Stone officiating. Final resting place will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park beside his beloved wife Elizabeth Kollin who preceded him in death in 1992. The family will be at the residence 2730 Arbor Glen Drive, Apt. 116 on Monday April 4, 2011 from 5:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. only. Memorials are suggested to the Hospice of the Western Reserve, 300 East 185th. Street, Cleveland, Ohio 44119. Arrangements are by the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua, Ohio.
