Laura A. Moessinger's Obituary
GARRETTSVILLELaura A. Moessinger, 100 years of age, passed away Saturday January 2, 2010 at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna. Born May 19, 1909 in Houtzdale, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Sara (Price) Tompkins. Formerly of Pittsburgh, Mrs. Moessinger was a resident of Garrettsville and Windham areas since 1993. A homemaker, she enjoyed sewing and reading the newspaper daily and the time she spent with her loving family. Survivors include her grandson Robert (Mary Jane) Bookamire of Nelson, granddaughters Judy (Marvin) Lambert of Garrettsville and Laura (Mike) Nadig of Depew, New York, and 4 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Sally Tacy in 1997 and her husband Paul E. in 1999, as well as 4 brother and 3 sisters. Funeral services will be Thursday January 7, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua with Rev. Dan Brawn officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until service time. Mrs. Moessinger will be laid to rest at Windham Township Cemetery.
