Leonard Wisniewski, Jr's Obituary
HIRAM TOWNSHIP - Leonard Wisniewski, Jr., 66 years of age, passed away Monday July 11, 2011 from injuries in a traffic accident Monday in Auburn Township. Born in Northfield, Ohio on March 19, 1945, he was the son of the late Leonard and Irene (Yanovich) Wisniewski, Sr.Formerly of Macedonia, he was a resident of the Hiram area the past 10 years.Leonard was a former member of St. Barnabas Catholic Church in Northfield and Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.He had been employed as a truck driver for S.B. Morabito Trucking Company in Cleveland . Leonard was a car and truck enthusiast, and he had a true love for animals, as well as enjoying Country Western music and was an avid Elvis Presley fan. He will always be remembered by those who knew him for his favorite saying "Thank you, Thank you very much" and his favorite healthy breakfast of coffee and danish . On December 2, 1967, he married Carol Wisniewski who preceded him in death in 2007. Also preceding him was his brother Alan. Survivors include his children Denise (Ken) Palmman of Hudson, Tracy (Michael) Boothe-Mrazik of Frederick, Maryland and Leonard Wisniewski,III of Hiram Twp., his brother Jerry (Paulette) Wisniewski of North Ridgeville, and 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday July 16, 2011 11:00 A.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, St.Rt. 44 at the corner of Pioneer Trail (S.of Rt. 422) Mantua, where calling hours will be from 9:00 A.M. until service time. Final resting place will follow at All Saints Cemetery in Northfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial donation cards are available at the funeral home.
