Linda A. Cain's Obituary
FREEDOM TWP. Linda A. Cain, 62 years of age, became Our Gift to God on Tuesday November 6, 2012 at Akron City Hospital in Akron, Ohio. Linda was God's Gift to Us on June 11, 1950 in Ravenna, Ohio, the daughter of the late John H. and Doris M. (Thomas) Cain. A lifetime area resident, Linda grew up on the Cain Family Farm in Freedom Township where she worked with her family and developed her love of family, farm life and the principals taught to her by her Christian parents. She enjoyed reading, crocheting and gardening in her spare time. Since 1978, Linda had been employed at Maplewood Career Center as the guidance secretary. Linda held a true faith that included Jesus becoming her best friend. As a very active member of His Ministry, she sat side by side with her sister Kathy in the control room of their church, where they shared their love for each other, their passion for perfection and assisting all with whom they came in contact. Linda is survived by her devoted sisters Kathy Cain of Freedom Township and Diane (Timothy B.) Sparacio of Simpsonsville, South Carolina, nephew Sean (Krista) Sparacio of Greer, South Carolina, as well as other loving family and church family members. She was preceded in death by her mother Doris in 1996 and her father John in 2011. Calling hours will be Sunday from 2:00 P.M.-4:00 P.M. at His Ministry, 3051 State Route 82, Aurora, where her Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday November 11, 2012 at 4:00 P.M. with Pastor James Atkins officiating. Linda will be laid to rest on Monday November 12, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at Drakesburg Cemetery in Freedom Township. (Everyone Please Meet At The Cemetery). In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to either her church, or to a memorial fund established at any Key Bank in her name to assist students at Maplewood Career Center.
