Obituary
Linda Hunter, 63 years of age of Mantua-Shalersville, passed away Friday, January 14, 2022. Born at Cleveland, Ohio on July 28, 1958, she was the daughter of the late James and Sara (Newel) Porubsky. Linda was a lifetime area resident, and 1976 graduate of Crestwood High School. Linda started her real estate career as an agent for Century 21 Real Estate, following which she had been employed at Coldwell Banker in Streetsboro for the past 20 years. Formerly an avid bowler, Linda also took up golfing with her father. Cooking at the holidays, Sunday night meals with family were important, while her grandchildren, and supporting them in all of their activities will be memories that forever will remain to be cherished. On September 25, 1976, she married Donnie R. Hunter, who survives at their home. Also survive are her sons, Jeremy (Stacy) Hunter, and Jason (Jennifer) Hunter, both of Mantua, and Josh (Beth) Hunter of Aurora; brother, Daniel Porubsky of Wisconsin, and her grandchildren, Isabella, Dylan, Penny, and Alex. Calling hours will be Sunday, January 23, 2022 at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St. Rt. 44, Mantua, Ohio 44255 from 2:00 P.M.-4:00 P.M. where her funeral service will then begin.
