Linda Marie Miller's Obituary
Linda Marie Miller, a beacon of love and selflessness, passed away on June 24, 2025, at her home in Mantua, Ohio. Born May 12, 1952, in Ravenna, Ohio, Linda was the daughter of the late Z.A. Benjamin and Margaret Irene (Vrabel) Benjamin. She grew up in a close-knit family and carried those values of kinship and care throughout her life.
A proud graduate of Crestwood High School, class of 1970, Linda's warmth and generosity were evident to all who knew her. Her professional journey led her to the Giant Eagle Bakery, where she was not only a skilled baker but also a beloved colleague. Linda's hands crafted more than just bread and pastries; they built a community of friends and left an indelible impression on everyone she met.
Linda's life was a testament to the joy found in simple pleasures, including her love of grocery shopping. She returned to her roots, moving back to the family farm in later years. There, she cherished in the joys of watching her brothers working the fields to the wonder of new calves taking their first steps. The woods on the property were the backdrop for countless family gatherings, which Linda enjoyed with boundless enthusiasm.
The heart of Linda's world was her family. She is survived by her loving children, Richard D. (Aimy) Miller, Brenda L. (Tommy) Phifer, Connie M. Fisher, and Rebecca L. (Charlie) Sasey. Her legacy continues through her adored grandchildren, Ashlie (Travis) Hamilton, Brittany (Matt) Kleinhen, Tanner Fisher (Brittany Ness), Mackenzie Miller, Sommer Bourne, Blake Sasey, and Corinne Sasey, as well as her great-grandchildren, Matthew Kleinhen, Conway Fisher, Brynlee Kleinhen, and the eagerly anticipated Baby Hamilton. Linda's role as a mother and grandmother was the source of her greatest joy and pride.
Linda was also a beloved sister and is survived by her siblings LaVerne (Ty) Morgan, Richard (Josie) Benjamin, John (Debbie) Benjamin, Bill Benjamin, and Kathy Benjamin. She was also an aunt and great aunt of many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
Linda's life was marked by an unwavering dedication to her family and an innate ability to nurture and care for others. Her selfless nature was her hallmark, and she will be remembered for the love she so freely gave. Linda's presence was a gift to us all, and her memory will continue to be a guiding light for her family and friends.
As we say goodbye to Linda Marie Miller, we celebrate a life lived with purpose and kindness. Her spirit, characterized by compassion and devotion, will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. Linda's journey on earth may have ended, but her influence will endure through the generations she has touched with her love.
A Service of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at The Friendship Alliance Church, 19126 Ravenna Rd., Chagrin Falls, Ohio at 10:30 a.m., followed by a Celebration of Life and luncheon.
