Obituary
STREETSBORO
Linda Ruark passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at the age of 69 in the comfort of her son's home in Ravenna Ohio. Her battle with cancer in the last year demonstrated her courage to face life's challenges with a smile. Despite the pain Linda persevered and stayed strong until the end. The care provided by her family was instrumental in helping Linda to be at peace throughout this battle. Her son Neil and daughter Shauna would like to give a special thank you to Shannon Tyson (niece), Andrea Ruark (daughter-in-law) and Linda Shank (granddaughter). Linda is survived by her son Neil (Andrea) Ruark, two daughters Shauna (Jay) Wise and Tiffany Shank, eight grandchildren Cass, Madison, Triston, Jaelyn, Peyton, Amelia, Linda, Devin and one great grandchild Jacqueline.
Linda was born in Bedford Ohio on November 23rd 1952. She grew up with seven brothers and sisters, R. Robert, Barbara, Thomas, Tracy, Leslie, James and Jamie and attended Springfield high School, graduating in 1971. She went on to a meaningful and fulfilling professional career, culminating in her work as a quality technician at Delta Systems Inc. prior to retirement in 2018. More important to her, however, was her family and friends. Linda dedicated her life to raising her children, and touching their lives, and the lives of their children, through her time, energy and care.
There will be no calling hours. A celebration of life memorial will be scheduled for the near future. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American lung association. Arrangements are by the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua, where her condolences and memories may be viewed at www.greenfamily funeralhome.com
