Linda M. Woods' Obituary
SOLON Linda M. Woods, 68 years of age, passed away Tuesday August 3, 2010 at Anna Maria of Aurora. Born in Salem, Ohio on May 7, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Howard J. and Violet ( Hadley ) Clark. A resident of Solon since 1965, Linda was an active member of Advent Lutheran Church in Solon where she devoted much energy to making banners and assisting her church in anyway possible. She was very proud of being a Licensed Practical Nurse and was employed at Anna Maria Nursing Home in Aurora for several years, after which she was employed for 18 years as a secretary at Orange Public Schools, retiring in 1995. On June 26, 1963, she married Willis W. Woods who survives at their residence. Also surviving are two sons Michael ( Laura ) Woods of Streetsboro and Matthew ( Christine ) Woods of Twinsburg and 4 loving grandchildren Kyle, Rachel, Bryce and Brock. No calling hours. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday August 8, 2010 at 7:00 P.M. at Advent Lutheran Church 5525 Harper Road, Solon, Ohio. Family and friends are invited to a time of fellowship at the church following her services. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial donations in her name to the Alzheimers Association- Cleveland Area Chapter P.O. Box 74924, Cleveland, and Ohio 44194-4924. Arrangements are by the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua.
