Lorena L. Burnett's Obituary
MANTUA Lorena L. Burnett, 94 years of age, passed away Friday September 2, 2011 at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna, Ohio. Born on March 2, 1917 in Salt Lake City, Utah, she was the daughter of the late Elmer D. and Ila (McDonald) Landsaw. A resident of the Mantua area the past 16 years, Mrs. Burnett was a former longtime resident of Twinsburg. A graduate of the School of Chiropractic Medicine where she obtained her Degree in Mechanical Therapy, she operated her medical office in Twinsburg practicing into her 80's. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 193 in Mantua and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Hiram, Ohio. Survivors include her son Van (Betty) Burnett of Shalersville, grandchildren Starla Zavich, Scott Burnett, Aaron Burnett, Blane Burnett, Michael Goodrick and Derald Goodrick, Jr. She was preceded in death in 1990 by her husband Lloyd C. Burnett and by her son Derald Goodrick, Sr. Funeral services will be held Friday September 9, 2011 2:00 P.M. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 6203 Pioneer Trail Hiram, Ohio with Bishop Joseph Herman officiating. Calling hours will be Friday at the church from 1:00 P.M. until the time of services. Final resting place for Mrs. Burnett will follow at Westlawn Cemetery in Mantua Township, Ohio. Arrangements are by the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua.
