STREETSBOROLottie A. Snider, 80 years of age, became Our Gift to God on Saturday September 25, 2010 at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna, Ohio. Mrs. Snider was God's Gift to Us on July 3, 1930 in Stubenville, Ohio the daughter of the late John and Eleanor (Kensicki) Zalewski.A resident of Streetsboro the past 3 years, she formerly was a longtime Garfield Heights and Cleveland resident. A homemaker, she was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church in Cleveland and attended St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Mantua. An avid bingo player, she enjoyed cooking, baking and the loving times she spent with her family. Survivors include her daughter Peggy (Jack) Musil of Mantua; her brother Thomas (Gloria) Zalewski of Sunbury, Ohio; sisters Clare Oeser of Seattle, Washington, Bernice Mikula of Auburn, Theresa Cupicha of Seven Hills, Patti (Lou) Klapka of Springboro, Ohio, Loretta Metz of Garfield Hts., Margie Juchnowski of Richfield and Janice Zalewski of Adena, Ohio; 4 grandchildren Emily, Katie, Jack and Hannah and 1 great-grandchild Nova. On January 23, 1954, she married James C. Snider who preceded her in death in 1998. Also preceding her was her son John J. Snider in 1996, brothers John and Louis Zalewski and sister Eleanor Lear. Calling hours Monday (TODAY) 6-8 P.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua, where prayers will be said Tuesday at 10:15 A.M.Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday September 28, 2010 11:00 A.M. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Mantua, with Rev.Fr. Michael Garvey officiating. Mrs. Snider will be laid to rest at Saint Casimir Cemetery in Adena, Ohio.
