Louanna M. Bidlack's Obituary
STREETSBORO Louanna M. Bidlack, 70 years of age, became Our Gift to God on Sunday July 29,2012 at her residence. Mrs. Bidlack was God's Gift to Us on June 14, 1942 in Madison, Ohio, the daughter of the late Delford and Carolyn (Fuller) Behm. A resident of Streetsboro the past 6 years, she formerly was a longtime Ravenna resident. Mrs. Bidlack grew up in Madison, graduating from Madison Memorial High School in 1960, after which she received a Cadet Teaching Diploma in 1962. In 1972 she graduated from Kent State University with a degree in Elementary Education. Her teaching career included serving schools in both Perry and Madison, Ohio, retiring from the Madison School System after 20 years of service. Louanna also taught at the Ravenna Christian Academy for a period of time. Over her lifetime she was a church secretary,taught Sunday School, was a church organist and sang in her church choir. For Louanna, the Lord was not only her Savior, but her best friend. She was an avid reader who always remained eager to learn from and enjoy her time spent reading. Louanna was a member of Firm Foundation Ministry in Ravenna, and held professional membership in NEOTA. On October 6,1962, she married James V. Bidlack who preceded her in death on April 11. 2011. She is survived by her sons Duane Bidlack of Streetsboro and Dana (Carrie) Bidlack of Mantua, her sister Ginny (Ron) Dunkin of Akron and her grandchildren Aaron, Cheyenne, Justin and Madison.Calling hours will be Wednesday August 1, 2012 from 5:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua, where her funeral service will begin at 7:00 P.M. with Pastor Reggie Ray and Pastor Kathy Mitchell officiating. Louanna will be laid to rest on Thursday August 2, 2012 at Westlawn Cemetery in Mantua Township at 10:00 A.M.
