Malinda S. Farley's Obituary
TROY TOWNSHIP Malinda S. Farley, 72 years of age, passed away Saturday April 30, 2011 at University Hospitals-Geauga Regional Medical Center in Claridon Township. Born on March 6, 1939 in Whirlwind, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Kermit and Bertha (Workman) Smith. A homemaker, Mrs. Farley was a resident of Troy Township the past 5 years, formerly residing in Willoughby and Bainbridge. Mrs. Farley enjoyed flea markets and garage sales, and was known to never say no to having her picture taken. She will most be remembered for being a child at heart, making her grandchildren laugh and being a proud mother and loving grandmother. Survivors include her children Steve (Dawn) Farley and Beverly (Scott) Sanborn both of Hiram, her siblings Violet Perrine and Layunia Wolfong both of Michigan, Isom Smith, Jerenia Fillinger and Oma Marcum all of West Virginia, and her grandchildren Jennifer, Brad, Corinne, Teagan and Hayden, and her triplet great-grandchildren Tobias, Calista and Eleanor. She was preceded in death by her daughter Debra Burzanko, her sons Henry "Hank" Farley, Jr. and Roger Farley and siblings Tracy Smith, Mabel Bryant and Dora Adams. No calling hours. A graveside funeral service will be held Wednesday May 4, 2011 2:00 P.M. at Overlook Cemetery in Parkman. A time of fellowship for family and friends will follow at the Steve Farley residence 18460 Rapids Rd. Hiram.
