Margaret Gochneaur's Obituary
MANTUA TWP. Margaret (Semety) Gochneaur, 68 years of age, of Mantua Township passed away Monday, March 16, 2009 in Gilmer, Texas. Born on December 12, 1940 in Washington D.C., she was the daughter of the late Dillard and Emma (Moss) Luther. A longtime Mantua area resident, she also had lived in Texas for several years. Mrs. Gochneaur was employed at the family business Superior Quality Machine and Fabrication in Garrettsville until her retirement, and formerly had worked in production, office and scheduling positions in manufacturing businesses. Mrs.Gochneaur was married for 21 years to Merlon "Punky" Gochneaur who preceded her in death in 2004. Also preceding her was her brother, Martin Luther and sisters, Mildred and Mary Luther. Survivors include her sons, Joseph (Michelle) Semety and Ernie (Cynthia) Semety both of Mantua; brother, Milton Luther of Chardon; sister, Martha Jean Curlin of Naples, Florida; 3 grandchildren, Adon, Matthew and Devon; and her good friend, Dr. Robert Temple of West Farmington. No calling hours. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be Sunday, March 29, 2009 at 1:30 P.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua. A luncheon and time of fellowship will follow at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in GarrettsA?ville for family and friends.
