Marjorie "Marge" Monk's Obituary
Marjorie (Marge) Monk of Streetsboro, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2026 from various illnesses. Marge was born April 19, 1939 in Elizabeth, WVa. Her family moved to Windham, Ohio in 1952. They attended The Drakesburg Church in Freedom and that is where she met and married her husband Walter on September 28, 1957.
Marge and her family attended Windham Bible Church for many years. Marge and Walter moved to Streetsboro around 1965 where they enjoyed bowling and attending country music concerts and raising poodles over the years. Marge retired from Kline News in Cleveland in 1995. She continued living in Streetsboro the rest of her life and attended The Full Gospel House of Prayer in Streetsboro. She loved watching the Browns and Indians and college football. She enjoyed being around her family very much.
She was preceded in death by her husband Walter, brothers and sisters-in-law Albert and Katherine Mihalko and Bob and Peggy Timm, also her parents John and Lottie Lutz, stepmother Dorothy (Parr) Lutz, brothers John, Bill, Joe, Dave and brother-in-law Jim. She is survived by sisters Mary and Lulu, sisters-in-law Joyce, Curly, Mary and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 11, 2026 at The Full Gospel House of Prayer, 8895 St. Rt. 43, Streetsboro, at 11 a.m. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.
